Public IP Address
Your public IP is the network address that destination websites actually see. After connecting to a VPNVX route, a different address here indicates that browser traffic is leaving through a new public endpoint.
Check the public IP used by your browser’s current request and view its associated network details. Run the lookup again after connecting to or switching routes to confirm whether your public IP has changed.
The result card describes the public IP seen for this page request. It helps confirm a route change, but it is not a complete network security check.

Location data comes from IP registration records and network routing information, not your device’s precise position. Database updates may lag, so the displayed region can differ from the data center’s actual location.
The ISP field identifies the network operator associated with your current public endpoint. It will often change with the endpoint after switching routes and can help confirm that routing has been updated.
The proxy assessment comes from network attributes returned by the GeoIP API and is for reference only. Detection databases use different criteria and update schedules, so one result cannot represent every website’s assessment.
A changed public IP does not automatically mean that DNS requests use the same route. Browsers cannot directly list every DNS resolver used by the system, so this page does not present a seemingly definitive result.
First review the DNS configuration in your system’s network details, then connect to the required route and perform a standard domain lookup. On desktop systems, run the following command in a terminal and check the resolver listed in the output:
nslookup example.com
Compare the resolver with your current network, client, or trusted DNS configuration. If the public endpoint has changed but lookups still go to the resolver provided by the original network, review the system DNS, browser Secure DNS, and the client’s DNS takeover settings.
Lookup requests are sent only to VPNVX’s same-origin GeoIP API. This page does not save lookup results in browser local storage, and VPNVX does not record the result. If the API is unavailable, the page displays “Temporarily unavailable” instead of redirecting to a third-party public lookup service.
